Murder In A Small Town
MURDER IN A SMALL TOWN will premiere on Tuesday, September 24 at 8pm on FOX, next day on HULU.
The show will have a special 90-minute series premiere on Tuesday, September 24 at 8-9:30pm ET/PT. The following week (Tuesday October 1) it will air at 8-9pm ET/PT. Then beginning Tuesday October 8, it will move to its regular time slot of 9-10pm ET/PT.
SYNOPSIS: Based on the Edgar Award-winning, nine-book “Karl Alberg” series by acclaimed novelist L.R. Wright, and starring Rossif Sutherland (Three Pines) and Kristin Kreuk (Smallville). Murder in a Small Town follows Karl Alberg (Sutherland), who moves to a quiet, coastal town to soothe a psyche that has been battered by big-city police work. He’ll quickly learn that this gentle paradise has more than its share of secrets and will need to call upon all the skills that made him a world-class detective in solving the murders that, even in this seemingly idyllic setting, continue to wash up on his shore. Kreuk stars as Cassandra Lee, a local librarian who becomes Karl’s muse, foil and romantic interest. Mya Lowe (My Life with the Walter Boys) plays criminology grad Corporal Edwina Yen, a new arrival to the coast and a cop on the fast-track. Aaron Douglas (Battlestar Galactica) plays Sergeant Sid Sokolowski, Alberg’s second in command. Fritzy-Klevans Destine (Superman & Lois) plays Constable Andy Kendrick, a capable cop who is a charming jackass and Savonna Spracklin (Departure) plays Isabella Harbud, the civilian receptionist with a dry sense of humor. Special guest stars include James Cromwell (Babe, Succession), Stana Katic (Castle, Absentia) and Noah Reid (Schitt's Creek).
